WHAT WE CAN DO FOR OURSELVES!!! think about it!!!
After doing a research, I figure the best way to communicate with people is subconsciously. What I was actually looking at was the human brain. Finding ways to use the knowledge we already have and put it in good use.
The human brain, the way it works is really neat. We live out of memories. We see not what we want to see only but what we have always been around and thought throughout time. Sometimes we don't even realize we're doing wrong because it was never told otherwise. Even when it was told that it wasn’t ok to do something, we find ways to work around the issue instead of eliminating the “bad thought” from whatever we’re doing. (I.e. Mother: Jonny, quit jumping on the bed. Jonny did not listen. Mother: Jonny I thought I told you to quit jumping on the bed. Jonny “jumps” off the bed and falls. The mother starts to laugh and Jonny gets up and do it again. Why did he do it again??? Jonny’s did it again because in his brain, a laugh is a sing of joy not an actual nag which was the original purpose.) There for this memories interact with the way we live. What I'm trying to say here. What we need to do is to find a way to interact with our brain, in order to be able to produce change in our everyday activities.
How can this be done? I’m pretty sure we all have heard the concept “You can do anything if you believe in yourself.” Well this is completely true. Everything is in our head. But is not always our choice to see what’s right or wrong. We live to follow examples. Sometimes they can be good other times they can be bad as well. The media school and family are who’s showing the “reality[1]” through many different ways. TV, Internet, Movies, school and plenty more sources. Let’s say, if you “like[2]” to watch comedy movies, you tent to be a funny person. But in the other hand, if all you “see[3]” is violence whether at home, school the streets or the media (TV/movies magazines books) I’m very certain you’re going to become a violent person. Why? Because that is all your brain is receiving and retaining. We need to find the source to this matter. This way we can, not eliminate but rearrange the thoughts and the way people see in their heads violence, to avoid the type of groups that are being formed with not good purposes. There are many ways to rearrange these thoughts and turn them into something good. For example, there are many kids who are related to “gangs” that don’t fight but do other activities within the crew or for the crew. All they do is paint their crews’ “placas[4]” in different places to be acknowledge. Well I don’t know if any of you have ever seen the type of drawing this kids’ do. I have seen portraits on different styles, I have seen pictures on train cars, and I have seen names and logos drawn in floors and walls. Let me tell you, this “Vandals” DO want something in life, but the problems is that instead trying to make these kids change their habits to something completely different which they have no desire on following. Why not encourage them to follow the same path as they had but looking at it in a totally productive way.
In conclusion, the brain is a very powerful tool that can be rearranged. Finding the way could be complicated but not impossible. And the best way would be asking “what do you like”. From there, once an answer is found for this question, it could lead to remarkable results.
[1] Reality: A word used to define a state in your mind to which a thought or thing has been introduced. (I.e. I know hate, love and other feelings exist because I’ve been always thought what it is)
[2] Like: A set of customs/ways of living of which we have been introduce by a third party who has already made it a habit and part of their everyday lives.
[3] See: Things been projected into the eyes and recorded in our brain for future knowledge.
[4] Placas: A sing or signature, either drawn/painted or doing hand signals, that identify a crew or person individually.
